Terry lives in Elk River, Minnesota.
Lundby is a longtime student of the Harvey Schroeder Studio, a nationally respected fine arts class.

"Any success I have had at painting aviation art came after I realized the subject, the aircraft was secondary in importance to a visual effect.  A good draftsman can factually render all the rivets and access panels on a Spitfire MK IV but the larger truths of light and shadow, aerial perspective, lost and found edges combine to create a true work of art.  There are the facts and then there is the truth.  I hope I paint truthfully."

His works have appeared in both Sport Aviation and Flying Magazine and his awards include;

First place, 1999,  Art Soup, Elk River, Minnesota.

Displayed at the Simuflite Facility, Dallas Texas.

Displayed at the EAA Air Museum, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Excellence and Par Excellence awards from the Experimental Aircraft Association.
